Activities + Learning Paths

SCORM elearning courses, instructor-led, assessments, surveys and more...

Thinking Cap supports many distinct learning activities. We also have a system of equivalencies to track when different activities can substitute for one another in your curriculum. If you use only one type of activity, you won’t be overwhelmed by seeing activities you don’t need. If you need to grow beyond one activity, we can easily give you what you need when you need it.

Elearning courses

Thinking Cap is a SCORM 1.2 and 2004 Certified learning management system (LMS). Your SCORM packages will work as you expect them to in Thinking Cap, no matter which authoring tool you use. Learning paths map the best sequence of learning activities to provide the best learning in the shortest possible time. The best learning paths combine structured learning activities with real work experiences.

Discover hidden pools of competency

Thinking Cap reports on learners who are close to achieving a learning path that they are not enrolled in. This helps you find hidden skills and competencies that can give learners additional learning credits and opportunities for changing or expanding the scope of their role in your organization.

Design paths that are flexible and accommodate your learners

Learning paths provide many flexible options to define which learnings are required and which are optional. You can use equivalencies to define multiple learning activities that will fulfill the learning requirements.

Build Your learning paths with an easy drag-and-drop tool

Our easy-to-use editor lets you draw from your entire library to build paths quickly and with as many layers and options as you want. Once you have your paths, you can use the editor to make any changes just as easily.

Since Thinking Cap supports a full set of Pre-Sets for the over 40 discreate settings for a given Activity sometimes it makes sense to segment your Types more granularly. It's all about making the administrative load lighter. So instead of having just ILTs you might want to create Face-to-Face and Webinar as different "types". Do you use Learning Paths as "Curriculum Maps" in one place an as "Fields of Interest" in another? Go ahead; Thinking Cap enables you to do things your way.
